Nina Dobrev shares health update after e-bike accident, drops pics from hospital bed

'The Vampire Diaries' star Nina Dobrev Thursday shared a health update with her fans on Instagram. The actor met with an accident last month while riding an e-bike. She had informed fans of the unfortunate incident via a hilarious post. Now, fans are ecstatic to learn that the actor has successfully undergone surgery and is currently in recovery mode.

'Surgery was a success'

“Surgery was a success. Thank you to everyone who has been sending kind messages, thoughts, prayers, and good vibes. I have been feeling the support and positive energy. It means more than you will ever know,” Nina Dobrev wrote while sharing a picture from the hospital bed.

Before her surgery, the actor shared a picture on Instagram and mentioned that she was scared. “I’m such a baby when it comes to needles, blood, or procedures of any kind,” she wrote.

Friends and fans share well wishes

Nina's post received a whole lot of love from her Instagram family, including her industry friends and fans. Reacting to her post, Nina's boyfriend Shaun White said, “We all love you.” Vin Diesel dropped a folded hands emoji.

Her 'The Vampire Diaries' co-star Julie Plec wrote“You look like a fashion model.” American actress Sarah Michelle Gellar added, “Still managing to look gorge in a hospital bed.” Zooey Deschanel stated, “Noooo… Hope you have a speedy recovery!”

About Nina's accident

Nina Dobrev shared about her accident with her fans on May 20. She took to Instagram and shared that she had been hospitalised after meeting with an accident while riding her e-bike. While the first slide of her post featured her gearing for a bike ride, the second picture had her lying on the hospital bed with a neck brace and splint on her leg. “How it started vs how it’s going,” she captioned the post.

On the film front, the Canadian actor was last seen in 'The Bricklayer'. Up next, she has 'Reunion' in the pipeline.
