This actor to replace Alia Bhatt in 'Dulhaniya 3': Report says film will have different approach

Karan Johar is all set for the third instalment of the film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya.’ There are talks that the female lead in the film will be changed this time.

Reports say that Alia Bhatt will not return in the romance film with Varun Dhawan. According to Peeping Moon, Janhvi Kapoor has been roped in for 'Dulhania 3'. The report also says that the film will be directed by Shashank Khaitan, who has directed the first two parts. The report further said that the third instalment will have an all-new storyline, characters and approach.

Janhvi will soon be seen in 'Mr and Mrs Mahi' with Rajkummar Rao while she also has ‘Rambo’ with Tiger Shroff. The actor also has ‘Devara’ with Jr NTR in pipeline, which marks her Telugu debut, 'Spider' with Sidharth Malhotra and 'Ulajh' with Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Matthew in the pipeline.

She was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Bawaal’ with Varun Dhawan. The film released on Amazon Prime Video on 21 July 2023.
