Sonam Kapoor Will Be The ONLY Indian Celebrity To Attend King Charles' Coronation Concert

Actor Sonam Kapoor will be attending King Charles' coronation concert in London on May 7. She will join the likes of Tom Cruise, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. This will be the actor's first royal appearance.

She is invited to deliver an exclusive spoken word piece at King Charles III's Coronation Concert on May 7 at the Windsor Castle, United Kingdom, Sonam is the only Indian celebrity to be present at this historical event. Set to introduce Steve Winwood and the exclusive Commonwealth virtual choir, the actress shared, 'I am honoured to join the Commonwealth virtual choir for this ceremony, celebrating His Majesty's love for music and art. It's a momentous occasion that signifies a commitment to a positive, inclusive, and optimistic future for the United Kingdom, with the Choir's music paying tribute to the royal legacy and promoting unity, peace, and joy.

'Following the Coronation of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen Consort on May 6 at Westminster Abbey, a celebratory concert will be held on May 7 at the Windsor Castle. Hosted by Hugh Bonneville, the concert will be held in front of 20,000 public members and invited guests, as well as millions around the world.Sonam is all set to make her comeback with the 2023 film Blind alongside Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey.
