Shah Rukh Khan posts selfie to thank fans for ‘Pathaan’ success: 'Thank u all for letting the Sun shine’

‘Pathaan’, which marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after a gap of years, has turned out to become one of the biggest hits of his career. The Siddharth Anand directorial has reportedly earned ₹429.9 crore at the domestic box office within 12 days of its release and has collected ₹832.20 crore worldwide.

Taking to Instagram Shah Rukh has thanked his fans and audience for showering the film with so much love. He posted a sun-kissed selfie and wrote, ‘The Sun is alone….it Burns….and comes out of the darkness to Shine again. Thank u all for letting the Sun shine on #Pathaan.’

‘Pathaan’ also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Dimple Kapadia. It is part of YRF's ‘spy universe’, which would consist of secret agents, including Pathaan, Tiger (Salman Khan’s character from the ‘Tiger’ franchise) and Kabir (Hrithik Roshan from ‘War’).
