Kareena Kapoor wants to hold Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter; Ranveer Singh, others react to the name

Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor announced their daughter’s name on November 24. The ‘Raazi’ actor took to Instagram and shared the first family photo featuring the newborn with her parents. She revealed that Ranbir’s mother, actor Neetu Kapoor picked the name Raha for their daughter and disclosed its many meanings.
Soon after the announcement, fans, friends, and family members dropped heartfelt messages in the comments section. Ranbir’s cousin, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote that she can’t wait to hold Raha Kapoor. Filmmaker Shashank Khaitan said Raha is a beautiful name.

Sharing the picture, Alia wrote, ‘The name Raha (chosen by her wise and wonderful Dadi) has so many beautiful meanings, Raha, in its purest form means divine path in Swahili she is Joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan, In Bangla – rest, comfort, relief, in Arabic peace, it also means happiness, freedom & bliss. And true to her name, from the first moment we held her – we felt it ALL! Thank you Raha, for bringing our family to life, it feels as though our lives have only just begun.’
Ranbir and Alia married in April 2022 in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. They announced their pregnancy in June via social media. The actors were recently seen in the movie ‘Brahmastra’.
