Here’s when Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s romantic drama will release in theatres

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon will soon share screen space in a yet-to-be-titled movie, directed by debutant Amit Joshi and Aradhana Shah.

The movie, which is said to a ‘robotic’ love story, will be produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande and Laxman Utekar.

It will release in theatres on December 7, 2023.

This film will mark Shahid's first collaboration with the ‘Mimi’ actress.

The news was shared by Maddock Films on their Instagram handle along with the film’s poster.

The post caption read, ‘Mark your calendars for this impossible love story that unfolds on 7th December 2023! Brought to you by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan starring Shahid Kapoor & Kriti Sanon together for the first time ever! Written & Directed by: Amit Joshi & Aradhana Sah. Produced by: Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande & Laxman Utekar. A Maddock Films production.’

Shahid Kapoor also shared the same poster on his Instagram handle.

The film also stars veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles.

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in ‘Bloody Daddy’. The film was released on OTT platform Jio Cinemas on June 9. He’s supposed to start shooting for the second season of ‘Farzi’ later this year.

Kriti Sanon’s recent film ‘Adipurush’ was released on June 16. The Om Raut directorial opened to mixed reactions.

The film has been facing massive backlash for its poor VFX and cringe dialogues.

Kriti Sanon will be next seen in ‘The Crew’ alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Diljit Dosanjh. The film’s shoot is currently underway.
