Actor Shraddha Kapoor was born to the veteran actor Shakti Kapoor and actress Shivangi Kolhapure on March 3, 1987. Shraddha's elder brother, Siddhant Kapoor is also an actor. The brother-sister duo was last seen together in the film, 'Haseena Parkar'. Shraddha shares a close bond with her aunt Padmini Kolhapure. Shraddha is often seen showering praises for her aunt on social media. In a recent post, Shraddha lauded her aunt for her singing talent.

Besides being a versatile actress, Shraddha aces the art of singing as well. For the unversed, she is a classically trained singer. She stole our hearts with her soulful singing in ‘Ek Villain’ when she sang 'Teri Galliyan'. The actor had also given her voice to the song, 'Phir Bhi Tumko Chaungi' from the movie 'Half Girlfriend' and the romantic number 'Sab Tera' from the film 'Baaghi', which also featured Tiger Shroff.

Shraddha Kapoor made her debut with 'Teen Patti' in 2010 which also featured Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff and R. Madhavan in pivotal roles.

She then landed a role in 'Luv Ka The End', which failed to create the magic at the box office. It was the 2013 film 'Aashiqui 2', which proved to be a turning point in her career. The film saw Shraddha Kapoor being paired with Aditya Roy Kapoor. The film was a huge hit at the box office and garnered an estimated amount of Rs 175 crores!

In 2014, Shraddha was seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Haider', which garnered critical acclaim for her role. 'Haider' was an adaptation of William Shakespeare's tragedy 'Hamlet'. Shraddha Kapoor continued to charm her fans with stellar performances in films like Ek Villain, ABCD 2 and Baaghi. She was also seen in an intense role in 2017 film, 'Haseena Parkar' where she played Dawood Ibrahim's sister 'Haseena'. Her role in the 2018 horror-comedy 'Stree' won the hearts of the audiences and critics alike. The film was a commercial success at the Box Office. What followed after that was yet another Box-Office hit in the form of 'Saaho'. This film, which crossed Rs. 300 crores at the box office had the Baahubali star Prabhas as the male lead. Immediately after that, the (late) Sushant Singh Rajput-Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Chhichhore' went onto win the ‘Best Film’ award at the National Film Awards.

Shraddha Kapoor will now be seen with Ranbir Kapoor in an untitled film that’s being directed by Luv Ranjan. The film is slated to release on January 26, 2023. The film will mark Shraddha and Ranbir's first film together. The duo was spotted last at Luv Ranjan's wedding, and they looked good together. We simply cannot wait to see them onscreen!
