From ‘Swades’ to ‘Chak De India’, a look at Shah Rukh Khan's patriotic films

Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film ‘Pathaan’, which marks his comeback on the big screen, is finally in theatres. The actor will be playing a captive RAW agent in the spy thriller, who will be pitted against John Abraham-led private terrorist group, Outfit X. SRK joins hands with Deepika Padukone to rescue India from the evil organization’s heinous attack.

Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani (2000)

Set against the background of insurgent and counter-insurgent violence in the north-eastern states, the film shows how Amar, a journalist, falls for a mysterious woman who does not reciprocate his feelings. However, when he later prepares to get married, she shows up at his doorstep seeking help.
