Alia Bhatt opens up about 'marriage issues' with Ranbir Kapoor

Actresses Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor recently appeared on the latest episode of 'Koffee With Karan,' where Alia candidly addressed various rumors surrounding her personal and professional life.

Discussing the prevalent internet rumors, she expressed how misconceptions constantly emerge in today's digital age. Alia shared her perspective, stating, “It’s the age of the internet, there’s a misconception a week.”

Addressing the trolls and their speculations about her marriage with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia shrugged off the constant online chatter.

She emphasized that these misconceptions didn't bother her, remarking, “Someday I’ve got buccal fat surgery, some day I’m whitening my skin, some day I’m having marriage issues. Misconceptions are misconceptions so they don’t bother me. You do you, I do me.”

When asked what message she would leave for trolls, she humorously suggested, “Hi, this is Alia Bhatt. If what you are going to say is going to make you feel better then please go ahead and leave a message after the beep.”

Alia also addressed the recent controversy sparked by her comment about Ranbir Kapoor preferring her natural lip color over lip shades.

She expressed her surprise at the intensity of the backlash, highlighting that Ranbir is the opposite of what the misconstrued comments portrayed him to be.

She felt concerned when the narrative shifted towards labeling him as "toxic," despite his true nature contradicting such notions.

On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film, 'Animal.'

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is actively filming 'Jigra,' an action movie directed by Vasan Bala, where she also serves as a co-producer alongside Karan Johar.
