‘Adipurush’ second song ‘Ram Siya Ram’: The soulful song shows Kriti Sanon anxiously waiting for Prabhas

The second song of Prabhas-Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Adipurush’, titled ‘Ram Siya Ram’, has been released. It shows Janaki awaiting the arrival of her beloved Raghav to come to rescue her from Lankesh.

In the music video, Janaki tells one of the characters with utmost conviction, ‘I am Raghav’s, and I will forever be Raghav’s.’ The video also highlights numerous endeavours undertaken by Raghav, aided by Lakshmana and Bajrang, as they try to rescue Janaki.

Sachet Tandon and Parampara Tandon have sung the song and have also composed its music. The beautiful lyrics have been penned by Manoj Muntashir Shukla.

‘Adipurush’ stars Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshmana, and Devdatta Nage as Bajrang.

The Om Raut directorial courted controversy in October 2022 after the first teaser of the movie was criticised for the poor quality of visual effects as well as its depiction of Hindu deities. A section of netizens also slammed it for the alleged Islamisation of Lankesh.

‘Adipurush’ which was earlier scheduled to release in January this year, will now hit the theatres on June 16, 2023.
