On camera: firing at Delhi's Tis Hazari court after altercation between lawyers

A firing incident has been reported from the Tis Hazari court's in the national capital New Delhi.

Initial reports said the firing took place after an altercation between a group of lawyers.

No injuries have been reported yet. However, a video of the incident has surfaced on the internet.

In the video, a man can be seen brandishing a pistol and firing it.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi said, "A firing incident took place around 1.35 pm on Wednesday in Tis Hazari court. When police reached the spot, it was learned that two different groups of lawyers, including office bearers, had allegedly shot in the air and no one was injured." The situation is normal and legal action is being initiated, police added.
