Two persons were arrested, as per some reports.

CCTV cameras at a bank branch in Gujarat's Nadiad captured distressing visuals of lawlessness on 3 February 2023.

Footage showed a person entering an office of Bank of India and repeatedly slapping an employee. When a person tried to intervene, he was slapped by a man accompanying the assailant.

A crowd then gathered, even as the assault on the bank employee continued. A few seconds later, the men are dragged away, but the first assailant broke free and again started hitting the bank staffer.

The root of the altercation was a bank loan, as per news agency ANI. A case has been registered under sections of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Two persons had also been arrested, as per some reports.
