      X subscription: Micro blogging site X, formerly known as Twitter is set to introduce two new premium subscription tier. Elon Musk in a post confirmed that one of them will be an ad-free browsing experience.

      Premium subscription

      As per the post, the first tier of the subscriptions will be priced lower, and targets users who are looking at cheaper ways of using all of X's premium subscription. The second premium tier, on the other hand, will be more expensive but will feature an ad-free browsing experience.

      'Not a Bot' subscription

      Earlier in October, X unveiled $1 annual charge for new users in New Zealand and the Philippines. The social media giant said that its testing “Not A Bot” subscription to reduce bots on X. This subscription will allow users to access some of the platform’s most basic functions, such as posting and reposting content, liking other users’ posts and replying. Those who don’t pay the subscription fee can view posts, watch videos and follow accounts.

      This is in addition to X's main subscription of $8/month. Elon Musk has been introducing various premium subscriptions through X Premium. X has given paid subscribers more features, such as longer posts and increased visibility, to make the platform more attractive to them.
