According to a survey by Randstad Talent Insights, Jaipur, Vadodara, Thane, Coimbatore, and Chandigarh are among the top five talent hotspots in tier-2 cities. Bengaluru continues to be the top tier-1 city for recruiting across all industries

With 29% hiring for junior level, Bengaluru tops tier-1 cities in hiring

India's I-T capital, Bengaluru, continues to hold its position as the top tier-1 city for hiring across industries and most levels of experience. This as per the Randstad Talent Insights Report 2023.

Jaipur, Vadodara, Thane, Coimbatore, and Chandigarh among tier-2 cities have emerged as the top five talent hotspots across four industries and experience levels.

This survey provides hiring insights across the four sectors of manufacturing, information technology (IT), pharma, healthcare, and life sciences (PHL), and banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI)

The paper examines patterns in over 100,000 occupations with various levels of experience across eight tier-1 cities, twenty tier-2 cities, and more.

Bengaluru leads on the IT jobs front, accounting for 29.06%, 34.74%, and 30.56% of all hiring at the junior, middle, and senior levels, respectively. Delhi is in second place in the junior level (17.09%), middle level (13.89%), and senior level (12.09%).

Jaipur leads in BFSI hiring at all levels (15.57%, 23.28% and 22.89% in the junior, middle and senior levels, respectively), among tier-2 cities, as per The Economic Times report.
