Wedding market sees a boom; 1.5 lakh weddings in Nov in this state alone

After the drastic loss during the pandemic for two years, Wedding planners and all those involved in the industry are upbeat and expecting a full-scale business this time as there are no restrictions like the past due to the outbreak.

Rajasthan, which is widely known all across the globe for its palaces and forts, will alone witness 1.5 lakh weddings in November, the highest in over two years after the coronavirus outbreak.

While the per day expense of a marriage garden in the state is from Rs 50,000 to Rs 10-12 lakh depending upon location and size, there are dharmshalas with 25-40 rooms with good facilities are available for around 2 lakh per day.

Rajasthan is famous for destination weddings at places like Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Sawaimadhopur and Kumbhalgarh, where businessmen and celebrities have tied the knot in the past.
