Warren Buffett Sells Another Tranche of Bank of America Shares

Warren Buffett has made yet another big move!

After slashing nearly half of Berkshire Hathaway's massive Apple stake, the legendary investor has just offloaded another $982 million worth of Bank of America stock.

Berkshire has trimmed its stake in Bank of America by almost 13% in a series of sales since mid-July, generating 5.4 billion dollars in proceeds.

But even after this latest move, Berkshire remains Bank of America's largest shareholder, holding a massive 903.8 million shares—worth a staggering 35.85 billion dollars based on Tuesday's closing price.

And despite these recent sales, Buffett still holds 12% of the stock.

Buffett, the 93-year-old investment guru, began betting big on Bank of America back in 2011, snapping up 5 billion dollars in preferred stock when the bank was facing tough times.

Buffett's cash holdings have gone up to nearly 280 billion dollars.
