Reliance Jio's big secret launch, the new pre-paid plan - cheapest yet offering

Reliance Jio has revamped its Rs 98 plan and introduced a new Rs 119 plan with some additional features.

This would be the cheapest prepaid plan from Reliance Jio that will offer 1.5 GB of internet per day. With all the changes, the plan validity has also been reduced from 28 days to 14 days. Jio has also revised the plan benefits to offer 300 SMS with the plan.

Jio recently complained to TRAI about rival Vodafone Idea not offering SMS benefits with its entry-level plan barring users from porting to other telcos.

This bundling makes it the most affordable data pack in this category. Reliance revised its prepaid tariffs starting December 1 making the entire structure costly by a minimum of 21 percent along with other operators.
