Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s net worth rose by Rs 22 lakh this year as compared to last year, according to the latest data on PM's website. Modi's net worth has jumped to Rs 3.07 crore as per his latest declaration from Rs 2.85 crore last year. Here is a detailed list of what India's prime minister owns:

  • Fixed Deposit (FD): Rs 1.86 crore
  • Property: 25% share in a residential property worth Rs 1.1 crore
  • National Savings Certificate: Rs 8.93 lakh
  • Bank Balance: Rs 1.5 lakh
  • Life insurance policies: Rs 1.51 lakh
  • Gold: 4 rings worth Rs 1.48 lakh
  • Cash: Rs 36,000
  • L&T Infrastructure bonds: Rs 20,000

Modi has not bought any new property since he began serving as Prime Minister of India in 2014. PM Modi's wealth has no stock market exposure neither mutual funds. He has taken no loans and has no liability. He has no personal vehicle against his name.

The rise in wealth is due to his fixed deposits in a Gandhinagar branch of the State Bank of India, which were Rs 1.6 crore last year.
