The CEO of FMCG giant, Kellogg's, Gary Pilnick, has stirred controversy after recommending cereal as a cost-saving dinner option amidst increasing grocery prices. In an interview with CNBC, Pilnick discussed a marketing campaign promoting Frosted Flakes and Frosted Mini-Wheats as alternatives to traditional dinner fare, suggesting that families consider cereal as a fun change for mealtime.

However, Pilnick's remarks sparked criticism on social media. One user on X, condemned Pilnick's comments as "absolutely staggering level of arrogance," while another urged him to "do better," citing his substantial net worth.
