Independence Day 2023: Discounts you can avail of on phones and TVs to tomatoes and real estate

To celebrate 76 years of India’s Independence, companies across various industries are giving Independence Day discount to lure its customers.

Here are some of the big discounts to avail:

LG electronics Independence day sale:
LG has announced its exclusive Independence Day promotional campaign, themed “FREEDOM IS PRICELESS. The brand is is introducing unparalleled offers, allowing customers to own selected LG products by paying just Rs 15*and balance in Easy EMI, with fixed EMI offer starts from Rs 888* on select models. ”The campaign is set to run until August 20th, 2023.

Croma Independence Day sale
Omni-channel electronics retailer Croma has announced discounts and offers on a range of products as part of the Independence Day sale. Via this sale, users can avail discounts on smartphones, TVs, accessories and much more.
Oppo mega Independence Day sale: Smartphone brand Oppo has announced a sale to celebrate Independence Day and to mark a year of Oppo Member’s Day. Oppo’s Independence Day sale will continue till August 31 for Oppo members - both new and existing. The sale offers discounts on Oppo Reno10 Pro+, Oppo Reno10 Pro 5G, Oppo Reno10 5G, Oppo F21s Pro, Oppo F21s Pro 5G, Oppo F23 5G, Oppo A17, Oppo A58, Oppo A78, Oppo A78 5G and Oppo Pad Air via Oppo e-store and offline retail stores across the country.

Real Estate I-Day discount:
Several real estate developers are offering schemes and discounts this Independence Day. Sops, usually reserved for Ganesh Chaturthi, Navami and Diwali, are on offer this Independence Day, as there is an extended weekend opportunity. A few developers in Mumbai are offering zero stamp duty, no GST, flexi-payment plan and 12-month EMI waiver to homebuyers who book apartments between August 1 and August 31.

A builder in Mumbai, JP Infra is offering zero stamp duty, flexi-payment plan, 12-month EMI waiver and furnished homes for its JP North Garden City located in Mira Road. Labdhi Lifestyle is offering a 1 BHK for Rs 84.99 lakh and 2 BHK for Rs 1.34 crore with no stamp duty and no GST for its project Labdhi Seabreeze in Wadala and Labdhi Gardens at Neral. This is open until August 15.

Tridhaatu Realty, a developer in Mumbai, is offering a discount of Rs 10 lakh for a 2BHK unit and up to 20 lakh discount on a 3BHK.

Mega sale of tomatoes
Apart from big brands, government is also holding Independence Day mega sale this year. In making a move for the first time, the National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India (NCCF) will be organising a mega sale for tomatoes in Delhi NCR on August 12 and 13 as part of Independence Day celebrations as the price of tomatoes hit a high of 300 rupees per kg in many states.
