Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan is being flayed along with jewellery brand Malabar Gold for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments with the company's new ad for Akshaya Tritiya.

What's the matter?

As has been the norm, a section of social media users took offence to Malabar Gold's Akshaya Ttitya ad featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, in which the actress is decked in traditional attire and elaborate jewellery but the bindi her forehead is missing.

Netizens are also unhappy that Kareena, is 'married to a man from other faith and shouldn't have featured in the ad on the occasion a Hindu festival.

A user asked the jewellery company to explain why the Kapoor girl wasn't spotting a bindi and another twitter user taunted the brand, asking the owners if they care about the Hindu culture.

This is not the first time Bindi Business has trended . Last Diwali fab india got slammed and had to bring down their Jashn e diwali campaign. Tala Cliq had to revoke their campaign which showcased women in green attire with no bindis which many contested was ‘Islamic’ and not insulting to the spirit of Diwali. Netizens had flodded the microblogging site with #NoBindiNobusiness.
