Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, the Executive Chairperson of Biocon Limited, recently expressed her disappointment over the cancellation of Trevor Noah’s shows in Bengaluru due to serious technical glitches and mismanagement. She took to social media to call it a “blot on Bangalore’s tech image” and urged the convention centre hosting the shows to introspect.

Trevor Noah, a stand-up comedian, was forced to cancel his shows in Bengaluru after the audience was unable to hear the comedian on stage, and a full refund is being issued to ticket holders.

The comedian apologized to his fans over the fiasco and said that he was hoping the sound issues would be fixed soon.

The cancellation of Trevor Noah’s shows has sparked outrage among fans and netizens alike. Many took to social media to express their disappointment and anger over the shoddy execution of the event. The incident has also raised concerns about Bangalore’s tech image.

Some people also complained about Bangalore traffic and said they were not able to reach the show and were willing to sell their tickets online.

The city is known as India’s Silicon Valley and is home to several multinational tech companies. The cancellation of Trevor Noah’s shows has been seen as a setback for the city’s reputation as a hub for technology and innovation.
