Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony: On January 22nd, the consecration ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir is expected to draw around 7,000 attendees. The ceremony will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi. Here's a look at how much it cost to construct the temple as well as how it was funded.

The Ayodhya Ram Mandir is one of India's most expensive religious projects, costing about Rs 1800 crore. The Vishv Umiya Dham in Gujarat, one of the tallest temples in the world, built at a cost of ₹1,000 crore, comes second.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, established in February 2020 has received over ₹3,500 crore in donations. According to Trust Secretary Champat Rai, ₹900 crore has been allocated for the temple's construction between February 5, 2020, and March 31, 2023, leaving a surplus of over ₹3,000 crore in the trust's bank accounts.

Ram Mandir Pran Prathistha Ceremony: Eminent Dignitaries Invited for the Consecration on January 22

Several notable figures, including NR Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murty of Infosys, Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, Neeraj Chopra, PV Sindhu, and others, are expected to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir on January 22.

Invitations have also been extended to cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and various Opposition leaders. Film personalities, such as Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn, have also been invited.

Despite incomplete construction, the first and second floors are set to be ready by December 2024, with carving work expected to conclude by the end of 2025, as per The Indian Express.
