Netizens never seem to give up the chance to react on social media. This time the internet is filled with mixed reactions on Air India's new logo. The Tata Group's airline has now ditched its red arched window accents for a sleeker livery that will see its tail fin painted in hues of gold, red and purple, along with a red and gold underbelly emblazoned with its name in bold.

      Here's how netizens reacted:

One user called the logo sleek but said the livery tends to put one off at first as it's seen mostly like a medley/plane having played Holi. Another user Indranil Roy had called the livery simple, clean and bold.

Meanwhile, a user named Rohan Shetty registered his disappointment on the livery while another person had said that the new logo captures the country's continued illiteracy towards good design.

In a jovial tweet, another user had compared the airline's livery with Ranveer Singh's flamboyant dressing style and said that Air India should name Ranveer Singh as their Brand Ambassador.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor also had something to say on the new design. While he said everyone might get used to the new look, the airline has to focus on fixing the interiors of the plane.

Air India's new brand identity has been designed in partnership with the brand transformation company FutureBrand. Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran said the new logo signifies limitless possibilities, progressivenes and confidence
