A panic situation prevailed in US Vermont, where an excavator could be seen trying to harm police officers.
In an incident, cops were arresting a man in assaulting and burglary case but the suspect's parents want to save their son from getting arrested so the boy's father aged, 52 years old rashly operated the excavator bucket around one of the police officers and in response to it the cop was seen pointing the gun at excavator to save himself.  
The mother of suspect can be seen preventing the officers to arrest his son when another cop was trying to hold him.
No injuries have been reported by the cops and they were able to arrest all the people involved in the incident.
The video of an incident was shared by Vermont State Police (VSP) on their Facebook page which has now gone viral on the internet.

The complaint by the flyer, Dr. OBGYN (@drnngujarathi) said, "The great IndiGo6E experience: My six-year-old kid was hungry. Requested the cabin crew to give her any food available, and willing to pay for it. Even on repeated requests, they refused saying they will serve corporate clients first. My daughter kept crying during the whole flight but they (the cabin crew) didn’t serve (food to her)." 
Responding to the tweet, a representative of the airline commented, "Sir, we understand what you must have gone through. Hope she is fine now. We'll certainly look into it and will connect with you tomorrow during working hours at your registered number." 
The tweet immediately sparked a flurry of comments on Twitter. While some internet users believed that the IndiGo cabin crew should have given preference to the hungry child, others blamed the parent for not carrying food with them. 
"As a parent of a six-year-old, first of all it is your duty to carry food with you. So blame your carelessness first. Agreed, the airline could have acted promptly. So first say that 'I as the parent of a six-year-old kid's parent didn't bring food and was expecting the airlines to serve me first," wrote Twitter user Kamal Raj (@KamalRajbharat).

The world's largest recorded freshwater fish, a giant stingray, has been caught in the Mekong River in Cambodia, according to scientists from the Southeast Asian nation and the United States.
The stingray, captured on June 13, measured almost 4 meters (13 feet) from snout to tail and weighed slightly under 300 kilograms (660 pounds), according to a statement Monday by Wonders of the Mekong, a joint Cambodian-U.S. research project.
The previous record for a freshwater fish was a 293-kilogram (646-pound) Mekong giant catfish, discovered in Thailand in 2005, the group said.
The stingray was snagged by a local fisherman south of Stung Treng in northeastern Cambodia. The fisherman alerted a nearby team of scientists from the Wonders of the Mekong project, which has publicized its conservation work in communities along the river.
The scientists arrived within hours of getting a post-midnight call with the news, and were amazed at what they saw.
&ldquo;Yeah, when you see a fish this size, especially in freshwater, it is hard to comprehend, so I think all of our team was stunned,&rdquo; Wonders of the Mekong leader Zeb Hogan said in an online interview from the University of Nevada in Reno. The university is partnering with the Cambodian Fisheries Administration and USAID, the U.S. government's international development agency.
Freshwater fish are defined as those that spend their entire lives in freshwater, as opposed to giant marine species such as bluefin tuna and marlin, or fish that migrate between fresh and saltwater like the huge beluga sturgeon.
The stingray's catch was not just about setting a new record, he said.
&ldquo;The fact that the fish can still get this big is a hopeful sign for the Mekong River, &rdquo; Hogan said, noting that the waterway faces many environmental challenges.
The Mekong River runs through China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. It is home to several species of giant freshwater fish but environmental pressures are rising. In particular, scientists fear a major program of dam building in recent years may be seriously disrupting spawning grounds.
&ldquo;Big fish globally are endangered. They're high-value species. They take a long time to mature. So if they're fished before they mature, they don't have a chance to reproduce,&rdquo; Hogan said. &ldquo;A lot of these big fish are migratory, so they need large areas to survive. They're impacted by things like habitat fragmentation from dams, obviously impacted by overfishing. So about 70% of giant freshwater fish globally are threatened with extinction, and all of the Mekong species.&rdquo; The team that rushed to the site inserted a tagging device near the tail of the mighty fish before releasing it. The device will send tracking information for the next year, providing unprecedented data on giant stingray behavior in Cambodia.
&ldquo;The giant stingray is a very poorly understood fish. Its name, even its scientific name, has changed several times in the last 20 years,&rdquo; Hogan said. &ldquo;It's found throughout Southeast Asia, but we have almost no information about it. We don't know about its life history. We don't know about its ecology, about its migration patters.&rdquo; Researchers say it's the fourth giant stingray reported in the same area in the past two months, all of them females. They think this may be a spawning hotspot for the species.
Local residents nicknamed the stingray "Boramy,&rdquo; or &ldquo;full moon,&rdquo; because of its round shape and because the moon was on the horizon when it was freed on June 14. In addition to the honor of having caught the record-breaker, the lucky fisherman was compensated at market rate, meaning he received a payment of around $600.

After the latest and fifth incident of a PURE manufactured e-scooter catching fire which claimed one life, the Hyderabad-based startup has initiated the recall of 2,000 e-scooters to check imbalance issues in batteries and chargers.
“In view of the recent fire incidents involving our vehicles in Nizamabad and Chennai, PURE EV has decided to recall 2,000 vehicles from the models ETrance Plus and EPluto7G of the concerned batches,” the company said in a statement.All customers will be contacted via the dealership network to voluntarily come and do a 'health check-up' for stakeholders. 
This comes after Okinawa Autotech announced the recall of  over 3000 Praise Pro e-scooters on April 16 to fix issues related to its batteries, just before its dealership was engulfed in flames in Chennai.

In a chilling reminder of Titanic, a Norwegian cruise ship hit an iceberg off the Alaska coast on Saturday. 
In a video that is being shared online purpotedly shows the cruise liner hit a piece of the iceberg. Passengers can also be heard exclaiming that it is Titanic 2.0. 
According to a CNN report, the ship hit what is called a 'growler' - an iceberg that is less than two meters across and has less than one meter showing above the water. 
The report said that the ship has sustained damage to the front portion on its right side. 
The nine-night cruise was cancelled and it returned to its home port of Seattle for repairs.

Ten people, all women, were arrested after a clash broke out between a group of women protesting the opening of a liquor shop in south Delhi’s Tigri area and the shop’s staff, police said on Saturday.
The incident happened Thursday around 8.30 am before the shop was opened.
The quarrel started with a protest staged by a group of local women, who were apparently against the opening of the liquor shop in the area, police said.
Officials said that the police was already brought in at the spot, as they had got to know about the protest, besides the female staff, who were deployed by the owner of the shop.
As their demonstration got heated, the protesters got into a fight with the women staff of the shop, roughing up a male police too.
Head Constable Ranjeet, the beat officer of the area, got caught in the fight and his uniform was also torn by those in the crowd, the officer said.
The situation in the area was brought under control and medical of the injured staff was conducted at AIIMS Trauma Centre, the officer added.
According to police, a case under several sections, including 146 for rioting, was filed against the 10 offenders booked. "Ten accused have been arrested in this case. The situation in the area is under control and staff in sufficient number has been deployed to avoid further tension," said Benita Mary Jaiker, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South).
