World's first AI Radio Jockey goes live; Portland based radio station creates clone of popular RJ

AI Ashley, the world's first artificially intelligent radio jockey (RJ) has gone live on radio station Live 95.5. This radio station is based in Portland, Oregon and now they will let AI RJ Ashley entertain people for five hours every day.

AI Ashley is the clone of midday host Ashley Elzinga. AI Ashley's voice is similar to Elzinga's and the video of the same is now doing rounds on the internet.

AI Ashley's scripts will also be generated by Future Media's RadioGPT, powered by the advanced GPT-4 technology. But for the fans of the original RJ Ashley, there is nothing to worry about as she will not be replaced by her AI clone, reassured Live 95.5's parent company.

The GPT-4 technology will collect current news from different news outlets and social media platforms to create an up-to-date script that AI Ashley will deliver on air.

As Live 95.5 shared this news on Twitter, several social media users reacted to it and said that this is a disrespect to the radio profession. While some internet users mocked the radio station's move, some said that they should not let AI take over.
