RCB finally ended their 5-match losing run in the Women's Premier League 2023 as they beat UP Warriors by 5 wickets on Wednesday night.

Smriti Mandhana's decision to bowl first proved right as the ball swung upfront, helping Sophie Devine remove both openers cheaply.

UP kept losing wickets and lost half their side with just 31 runs on the board before Grace Harris with a gritty 46 helped her side finish at 135.

Chasing which RCB lost Sophie Devine for 14 and Smriti Mandhana for a duck and were reduced to 60/4 in 9 overs.

That's when Kanika Ahuja counter attacked with a fiery 46 and Richa Ghosh's unbeaten 31 took RCB over the finish line and finally take the monkey off Smriti Mandhana's back.
