Kyiv, Aug 26 (PTI) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for extending warm wishes on Ukraine's Independence Day. Zelenskyy emphasized Kyiv's reliance on India's role in bringing an end to the ongoing conflict with Russia.

In a post on social media, Zelenskyy acknowledged India's commitment to "peace and dialogue." He remarked that as the world collectively strives to conclude this devastating war with honor and secure enduring peace, India’s involvement is crucial.
