Video: Iran security forces fire tear gas at girl's school in latest clashes

Teargas was shelled outside a girls' school in Tehran following clashes after school staff reportedly checked student's phones.

Reports have pointed to the role of Iranian forces for firing teargas at the Tehran girls' school.

Several unverified videos showed the heavily armed Iran security personnel on motorbikes hurling teargas canister outside the institution.

The Iran government confirming the incident said several students had to be hospitalized due to low blood pressure, but claimed that the security forces did not enter the school.

The raging protests over hijab law were ignited further after death of Mahsa Amini, who was detained by morality police for her "inappropriate headscarf".

Women have played a crucial role in country's largest ever demonstration since 2007, with a blatant crackdown by the theocratic regime in response.
