UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly has called the attack on the Indian High Commission by Khalistani elements "unacceptable".&nbsp;
Cleverly said in a statement that the police investigation is ongoing and UK Government is in close contact with the Indian High Commission in London and the Indian government in New Delhi.
"We are working with the Metropolitan Police to review security at the Indian High Commission, and will make the changes needed to ensure the safety of its staff as we did for today's (Wednesday) demonstration," the statement said further.
Suspected pro-Khalistan supporters on Wednesday held a fresh demonstration outside the Indian High Commission in the UK. However, unlike the earlier demonstration during which the tricolour was taken down and an attempt made to raise the Khalistan flag, the protest this time was confined behind police barricades.
The statement released by the UK Foriegn Secretary further said, "We will always take the security of the High Commission, and all foreign missions in the UK, extremely seriously, and prevent and robustly respond to incidents such as this."
Highlighting the UK-India ties, he said that the relationsip between both nations is thriving and is driven by "deep personal connections".&nbsp;
"Our joint 2030 Roadmap guides our relationship and shows what we can achieve when we work together, creating new markets and jobs for the two countries and helping to tackle shared challenges. We want to build deeper ties between the UK and India for the future," the statement said further.

But Wednesday's grand jury session was called off, unnamed law enforcement officials told multiple US outlets, without giving a reason. The New York Times reported that such interruptions are not unusual.

The jury panel usually meets on Thursdays too but Insider, which broke the news of the canceled meeting, quoted one source as saying it may not gather again this week, meaning the earliest a decision might come is Monday.
The 76-year-old Republican would become the first former or sitting president to ever be charged with a crime if the panel eventually votes to indict.
The unprecedented move would send shockwaves through the 2024 election campaign, in which Trump is running to regain office.
It would also raise the prospect of a former leader of the free world being arrested, booked, fingerprinted and possibly handcuffed.

Shou Zi Chew plans to tell Congress on Thursday that TikTok, which was founded by Chinese entrepreneurs, is committed to user safety, data protection and security, and keeping the platform free from Chinese government influence. He will also answer questions from U.S. lawmakers worried about the social media platform's effects on its young user base.
At the heart of TikTok's trouble is a Chinese national intelligence law that would compel Chinese companies to fork over data to the government for whatever purposes it deems to involve national security.
There's also concern Beijing might try to push pro-China narratives or misinformation through the platform.
At a media event coordinated by TikTok on Wednesday, some content creators acknowledged that concerns about data security are legitimate, but pointed to precautions the company is taking, such as a $1.5 billion plan &mdash; dubbed Project Texas &mdash; to route all U.S. data to domestic servers owned and maintained by the software giant Oracle.
TikTok has been attempting to sell that proposal to the Biden administration, but sceptics have argued it doesn't go far enough.

California may become the first state in the United States to outlaw caste-based bias, a safeguard people of South Asian descent say is necessary to protect them from discrimination in housing, education and the tech sector where they hold key roles.
State Sen. Aisha Wahab, the first Muslim and Afghan American elected to the state legislature, introduced the bill Wednesday. It adds caste &mdash; a division of people related to birth or descent &mdash; as a protected category in the state's anti-discrimination laws.
Those at the lowest strata of the caste system known as Dalits, have been increasingly calling for such legislation saying they have faced this kind of discrimination in the United States. But such policies remain divisive.
Wahab said caste discrimination is &ldquo;a social justice and civil rights issue.&rdquo; &ldquo;People came to this country so they can be free and can pursue their American dream without any disruption to their lives," Wahab said, adding that she heard about this form of discrimination growing up in Fremont, California, and living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
But some groups such as the Hindu American Foundation and the Coalition of Hindus of North America oppose such policies. They argue these measures will hurt a community that already faces hate and discrimination, and will specifically target Hindus and Indian Americans who are commonly associated with the caste system. The legislation is being backed by other groups such as Hindus for Human Rights and Hindus for Caste Equity.
A United Nations report in 2016 said at least 250 million people worldwide still face caste discrimination in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Pacific regions, as well as in various diaspora communities. Caste systems are found among Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jains, Muslims and Sikhs.

British lawmakers voted overwhelmingly on Wednesday in favour of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's deal with the European Union to rewrite the rules on Northern Ireland trade.
The House of Commons voted 515-29 to back a key portion of the agreement, which is designed to resolve a thorny trade dispute that vexed UK-EU relations and triggered a political crisis in Belfast.
But Sunak faced a rebellion by about 20 fellow Conservatives, including his two immediate predecessors.
Former prime ministers Boris Johnson and Liz Truss had both said they would vote against the deal.
Johnson, who led Britain out of the EU in 2020, said the deal was &ldquo;not acceptable&rdquo; because it kept some EU laws in operation in Northern Ireland, restricting the U.K.'s ability to diverge from the bloc's rules and &ldquo;take advantage of Brexit.&rdquo; A hard-Brexit group of Conservative Party lawmakers known as the European Research Group also said it opposed the deal.

Sunak's agreement, known as the Windsor Framework, replaces elements of the Brexit divorce deal negotiated by Johnson, and hailed by him at the time as an &ldquo;oven-ready&rdquo; agreement.
Ahead of Wednesday's vote, Sunak said the framework was &ldquo;a good deal for the people, families and businesses of Northern Ireland&rdquo; and protects the region's place in the United Kingdom.

Johnson's deal imposed customs checks and other hurdles on goods moving to Northern Ireland from the rest of the UK in order to maintain an open border between the region and its EU neighbour, the Republic of Ireland.
The open border is a key pillar of Northern Ireland's peace process.
Northern Ireland's British unionist politicians strongly opposed the customs border, saying it undermined Northern Ireland's place in the United Kingdom.
The Democratic Unionist Party walked out of the power-sharing semi-autonomous Belfast government a year ago in protest, leaving Northern Ireland's 1.9 million people without a functioning administration.
The Windsor Framework removes most of the checks and is designed to ease the burden on businesses and to address the unionist concerns.
It gives Northern Ireland politicians a mechanism, known as the Stormont Brake, to challenge new EU trade rules that could apply in the region &mdash; a key unionist demand.
But the Democratic Unionist Party is concerned the mechanism does not go far enough, and some elements of EU law will continue to apply in Northern Ireland.
The DUP's eight lawmakers in the House of Commons also opposed the government in Wednesday's vote, which was specifically on the Stormont Brake part of the deal.

Elon Musk&rsquo;s electric-vehicle maker escalated the discounts in January, with another discount that left Tesla&rsquo;s locally-made cars up to 14% cheaper than last year, and in some cases almost 50% less expensive than in the US and Europe.
According to Bloomber, the moves left rivals with little option but to follow suit. Among them were local upstarts such as Xpeng Inc. and Nio Inc. as well as leading international brands like Volkswagen AG and Mercedes-Benz Group AG, which offered discounts of up to 70,000 yuan ($10,000).&nbsp;
The cuts have come after a difficult time for China&rsquo;s auto sector. Consumer spending was badly dented by long-running Covid restrictions, while sales have also been impacted by the removal of state subsidies on EV purchases at the end of last year. Supply-chain disruptions have hurt industries globally too.&nbsp;

Billed as less costly to produce and fly, the unmanned Terran 1 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida at 11:25 pm (0325 GMT Thursday) but suffered an "anomaly" during second-stage separation as it streamed towards low Earth orbit, according to a livestream broadcast by aerospace startup Relativity Space.
The company did not immediately give further details.
While it failed to reach orbit, Wednesday's launch proved that the rocket -- whose mass is 85 percent 3D-printed -- could withstand the rigors of lift-off.
The successful launch came on the third attempt. It had originally been scheduled to launch on March 8 but was postponed at the last minute because of propellant temperature issues.
A second attempt on March 11 was scrubbed due to fuel pressure problems.
Had Terran 1 reached low Earth orbit, it would have been the first privately funded vehicle using methane fuel to do so on its first try, according to Relativity.
Terran 1 was not carrying a payload for its first flight, but the rocket will eventually be capable of putting up to 2,755 pounds (1,250 kilograms) into low Earth orbit.
The rocket is 110 feet (33.5 meters) tall with a diameter of 7.5 feet (2.2 meters).
Eighty-five percent of its mass is 3D-printed with metal alloys, including the nine Aeon 1 engines used in its first stage and the one Aeon Vacuum engine employed in the second.
It is the largest ever 3D-printed object and was made using the world's largest 3D metal printers, according to the Long Beach-based company.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres warned that major Himalayan rivers like the Indus, the Ganges and Brahmaputra, all hugely important for India, could see reductions in their flows as glaciers and ice sheets recede over the coming decades due to global warming.
"Glaciers are critical to all life on earth. Over centuries, they carved out the landmasses we call home. Today, they cover 10 per cent of our world. Glaciers are also the world's water towers," Guterres said in his remarks to an event on the International Year of Glaciers&rsquo; Preservation Wednesday.
Guterres voiced concern that human activity is driving the planet's temperature to dangerous new levels and "melting glaciers are the canary in the coalmine".
Antarctica is losing an average of 150 billion tons of ice mass every year while the Greenland ice cap is melting even faster &mdash; losing 270 billion tonnes per year.
