'Stop laughing at our pain...': Lil Nas X receives backlash online for dressing up as used tampon

Rapper Lil Nas X is receiving criticism online for wearing a costume that looked like a used tampon. The rapper even shared a video of his Halloween look on Instagram wearing a used tampon costume with a red colour on it to make it look like blood.

A string could also be seen attached to the costume just like a tampon.

As social media users came across this video, they started reacting to it. Several internet users called him out for his costume and said that they enjoyed this look but the problematic thing about it is that he has personally never experienced the stigma or pain attached to it.

Several others reacted to this by saying that it is wrong on many levels and they feel he is laughing at their pain. Some internet users even reacted by asking that if vaginas and periods are scary or funny to men?

The video of Lil Nas X dressed as a tampon has managed to garner more than 2 lakh views, at the time of writing this.
