A terrifying video emerged from America amid violent weather warnings in southern USA. The video showed a tornado passing over a busy highway.

The phenomenon occurred at Interstate 16 in Bryan County, Georgia, as per reports. The video showed a long queue of cars, with a tornado in the background. No injuries were reported, according to the Associated Press.

Meanwhile, a series of tornado warnings were reportedly issued by the National Weather Service for southern states. Over 50,000 homes and businesses, from eastern Texas to South Carolina, reportedly lost electricity as violent storms ripped through the region, uprooting trees and damaging power poles.

Around two days of severe weather has been predicted in the region, as per reports.
