UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty gave a sneek peak into their life at home in an interview with Grazia magazine.

Sunak said he is particular about making the bed. He often interrupts his work and checks whether Murty made the bed.

Murty argued, "I’m not a morning person,"

To this, Sunak said, "But you also just don’t like making the bed and it bugs me. I actually sometimes come up back into the flat from the office after we’ve all left to make the bed because I’ll be irritated if it’s not been made."

The couple said that they have divided tasks at home. Murty looks after the studies of the children and Sunak takes care of the rest of the things.

"I’m stricter when it comes to things related to school, like getting their homework done, making sure they are reading. Making sure that anything related to school is done well," Murty said.

The daughter of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy admitted that she has greater flexibility in her daily schedule. She exercises more than Sunak and also finds time to read more books. The couple also watches re-runs of episodes of the sitcom ‘Friends’, which they both love because it "never gets old".
