As the threat of a no-confidence vote continues to loom on the Pakistan prime minister, Imran Khan has asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's members of the National Assembly to either abstain from voting or not attend the session.

This as the Opposition accused him of witch-craft to save his government. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz president Shehbaz Sharif while speaking to Pakistani news channel Aaj News alleged that tonnes of chickens were being burnt at Imran Khan's Bani Gala residence to save his government.

Sharif is not the only opposition leader who has alleged witch-craft being practiced at the PM's residence. His niece Maryam Nawaz had also made a similar claim. Maryam had alleged that they were aware that ‘jadu, tuna’ or witchcraft is going on in Bani Gala to save Imran’s government but that will also not help.

Bushra Maneka, the third and incumbent wife of Imran Khan, calls herself a Peer or a faith healer. The former cricketer had started visiting her for spiritual advice a year before he came to power. According to news agency PTI, the two got closer after the predictions made by her came true. The couple got married in 2018.

The non-confidence motion has been placed in the National Assembly and the trust vote is scheduled to take place on April 3.
