One injured after unidentified package explodes in Boston university; FBI involved in probe 

A college staff member was injured late Tuesday night after a suspicious package exploded while being opened on the campus of Boston's Northeastern University.

The package that blew up was one of the two that were reported to police earlier in the evening.

An NBC Boston report states that the package was delivered to Holmes Hall on campus, close to 7 PM, detonating when it was being opened.

The Boston Bomb Squad, police and fire departments were quick to respond and help in evacuating the building, the report added.

According to authorities, the Boston's bomb squad neutralised another parcel near the city's Museum of Fine Arts, situated on the outskirts of the university campus. They further added that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is assisting with the investigations.
