Imran Khan alleges 'London plan' to jail him for 'next 10 years' | Pakistan

In his latest attack on the Shehbaz Sharif government, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan claimed that the "complete London plan is out", a possible reference to Nawaz Sharif who currently resides in London.

Imran Khan on May 15, 2023 said that the government plans to "humiliate" him by jailing his wife Bushra Begum, and using the sedition law to imprison him for the next 10 years.

Comparing the situation to Bangladesh, Imran Khan said that the government plans to ban his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf like the Awami League was banned in East Pakistan.

He added that "terror" is being "unleashed" on people to prevent a public reaction, and protests against the Supreme Court are being planned to "overawe" the Chief Justice.
