Egypt has excavated a tunnel possibly the long-lost tomb of country's most famous ruler Queen Cleopatra.

The country's 1.3 km long tunnel was discovered 43-feet beneath Egypt's ancient Taposiris Magna Temple.

Calling it a geometric miracle, Egypt's tourism and antiquities ministry said the tunnel "may lead to Cleopatra's final resting place."

Dominician-Egyptian archaeological mission which conducted the excavation said they would dig further to find out whether Queen Cleopatra was buried there.
