      Canada has announced that the health warnings printed on cigarette packs till now will be directly printed on the cigarettes themselves.

      The country aims to deter new smokers, encourage currents one to quit as well as reduce tobacco-related deaths with the move.

      The labels on individual cigarettes will make it 'virtually impossible' for smokers to avoid warnings, Canada health officials were quoted as saying.

      Cigarettes will soon be labelled with phrases like 'Cigarettes cause cancer' and 'Poison in every puff' in English and French, as per reports.
