'Can't do anything more...': British teacher trapped in Gaza shares conversation with Foreign Office

A British school teacher from Manchester is trapped in Gaza and she has reportedly been requesting the foreign office officials to help her leave the war-struck place. The teacher, Zaynab Wandawi, has been in Gaza for more than three weeks now with 10 members of her husband's family.

Zaynab shared a screenshot of her conversation with a Foreign Office official, who reacted to her situation by sharing a sad emoji. In their conversation, the officer asked her if she had food and water. Zaynab replied that they barely eat and drink as there is nothing left.

She even said that water is a luxury that they are not privy to. The foreign officer replied by saying that UK really trying to get people out of Gaza through the Rafah border but they haven't heard anything about when it will open. They are doing their best to push them to open it, the official added.

Zaynab also said in her message that she honestly doesn't think that the officials know how much their lives are at risk. To which, the official replied by sending a sad face emoji and said, "I really don't understand why they are taking so long."

Several social media users also shared messages in her support appealing to foreign officials and tagging higher authorities to help the teacher get out of Gaza.
