Double-Decker Bus Crash Near Victoria Station Injures 15

London, September 4 (AP) A double-decker bus incident near Victoria Station on Thursday resulted in fifteen people being hospitalized. Police reported that two additional individuals received medical treatment at the crash scene. Fortunately, none of the injuries are deemed life-threatening.

The collision, which occurred during the morning rush hour, also involved the driver of the Route 24 bus.

Footage reveals the bus with a shattered windshield, accompanied by emergency vehicles—police cars, ambulances, and a fire engine.

Eyewitness Emit Suker described the scene, stating, “The bus was traveling at a high speed when it lost control and veered off the road. The atmosphere inside was chaotic with about 15 or 16 passengers onboard, and people were screaming—it was awful.”

The Metropolitan Police are seeking assistance from the public for phone or dashcam footage as they continue their investigation.

No arrests have been made.

Victoria Station is a pivotal location connecting rail, subway, and bus services, situated near Buckingham Palace. It consistently attracts a large number of commuters and tourists.
