An arrest warrant was issued against actor Zareen Khan in connection with a 2018 cheating case. An event management company alleged Zareen did not appear for a show scheduled in Kolkata despite being paid in advance.

A Kolkata court issued an arrest warrant against actor Zareen Khan on charges of cheating a city-based event management company in 2018.
The event management company had filed a complaint against Zareen for not appearing for a show scheduled in Kolkata in 2018 despite being paid Rs 12 lakhs in advance.
An arrest warrant has also been issued against the former manager of the actor with whom the event management company coordinated in the matter.
When asked about the arrest warrant, Zareen Khan said she had no clarity on the matter. 'I&rsquo;m sure there is no truth to this. I&rsquo;m surprised too and am checking with my lawyer. Only then will I be able to give you some clarity. In the meantime, you can speak to my PR,' she said.
Zareen has reportedly entered into an agreement with the event management company to participate in a function on the occasion of a religious festival in the city.
The actor reportedly ignored notices one after another for her appearance at the court. Following this, the court issued an arrest warrant against her.

Actor Zareen Khan, who is currently recovering from dengue, shared her health update on Instagram.

Actor Zareen Khan, who made her acting debut in 2010 with Salman Khan starrer &lsquo;Veer&rsquo;, has been hospitalised in Mumbai due to dengue. She took her Instagram recently to share her health update from the hospital. She shared a series of photos and updated fans about her recovery.
She shared a photo of a glass of fruit juice and wrote, &lsquo;#RecoveryMode&rsquo;.
Previously, Zareen shared a picture in which she was seen taking IV fluids.
Zareen Khan was last seen in the Hindi film &lsquo;Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele&rsquo; (2021), which was an LGBTQ+ love story. She has been on a break from acting ever since.
In 2022, Zareen revealed that her mother&rsquo;s ill-health has been the reason behind her disappearance from films.
&lsquo;My mother&rsquo;s health has been a reason of concern for me since the last year and a half. That has taken up most of my time. But by the grace of God, she is feeling much better now, and I can concentrate on work again,&rsquo; Zareen had said.
She added, &lsquo;I have always wanted to learn Kathak and I am finally doing that now alongside other dance techniques. I am back on my fitness game and also plan to be more active on my social media channels. Of course, there will also be other announcements when the time is ripe.&rsquo;

Actor Zareen Khan recently held an AMA session on Reddit where she opened up on comparisons with Katrina Kaif and her experience of working with Salman Khan in &lsquo;Veer&rsquo; and the dance number &lsquo;Character Dheela&rsquo; from the movie &lsquo;Ready&rsquo;.
Zareen said it was &lsquo;intimidating&rsquo; to work with Salman.
When asked about her resemblance to Katrina, she revealed how it never occurred to her that this comparison would go against her.
&lsquo;So when I entered this industry, I was literally like a lost child since I don&rsquo;t come from a filmy background so it made me feel really happy being compared to Katrina as I was her fan too and found her really pretty. But it backfired on my career as the people of this industry didn&rsquo;t give me a chance to prove my individuality,&rsquo; Zareen wrote.
The actor also shared that what she hates the most about the film industry is when people work on the basis of friendship rather than talent.
When asked why she didn&rsquo;t appear in more films, despite having many connections in Bollywood, Zareen replied that she doesn&rsquo;t have a lot of connections in the industry and she also doesn&rsquo;t know how to do small talks.
