<p>The aerial action thriller grew 40 per cent on day 2 at box office. According to film industry tracker Sacnilk.com estimates, &lsquo;Yodha&rsquo; earned ₹5.75 crore net in India on Saturday. The film minted ₹4.1 crore net on its opening day. The Sidharth Malhotra starrer has minted ₹9.85 crore net in two days. The film registered an overall 13.86 per cent occupancy in Hindi theatres on Saturday. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Backed by Dharma Productions, Sidharth Malhotra starrer &lsquo;Yodha&rsquo; failed to meet the expectations as far as box office collection is concerned. The film witnessed a slow start on day 1 as it earned only ₹ 4.50 crore at box office. &nbsp;</p>
<h2>&lsquo;Yodha&rsquo; facing tough competition from 'Shaitaan'</h2>
<p>&lsquo;Yodha&rsquo; saw an overall occupancy of 13.86 per cent on Friday. While it beat &lsquo;Bastar: The Naxal Story&rsquo; which was released on the same day, &lsquo;Yodha&rsquo; is facing a tough fight from Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan starrer &lsquo;Shaitaan&rsquo;. The horror thriller has crossed ₹ 100 crore mark worldwide and remains the first choice of audience. However, the weekend will give a clearer picture of Sidharth&rsquo;s film at the box office. &nbsp;</p>
<h2>Sidharth's work front</h2>
<p>Sidharth Malhotra&rsquo;s last hit film was &lsquo;Shershaah&rsquo;, which released on OTT during the lockdown. While talking about the film during a recent promotional event, Sidharth said, &ldquo;We have done many variations in the film and also the action I got to perform is very different from Shershaah. Here I am more energetic, and lean, and use different sorts of weapons. It is a far more commercial and entertaining film. I think it has got my best of action sequences that I have done in last decade or so."</p>
<p>Sidharth was last seen in &lsquo;Indian Police Force&rsquo;, which also starred Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi. Directed and created by Rohit Shetty, the show was released on OTT.&nbsp;</p>
