Virali Modi, a Mumbai-based woman who relies on a wheelchair for mobility, faced a disheartening ordeal when she had to be carried up two flights of stairs to register her marriage due to the lack of disability accommodation.

Virali Modi, a Mumbai-based woman who relies on a wheelchair for mobility recently got married but that didn't come easy for her. She shared her ordeal of registering her marriage in Mumbai.&nbsp;
In her viral post, Virali said that the office was on the second floor without a lift and the officials didn't come downstairs for the signatures so she had to be carried up two flights of stairs to get married.&nbsp;
She also mentioned in her post that she is disheartened that the country's government and citizens cannot accommodate her disability. Her faith in humanity has been destroyed by this ordeal.&nbsp;
Virali also said that she is not a piece of luggage that needs to be carried up two floors. She said that she is a human being and her rights matter.&nbsp;
As she shared the post, it quickly went viral and several people reacted to this. Internet users called it extremely appalling and disheartening.&nbsp;

Kevan and his six buddies have trekked along France, England and Ireland, and even China recently. Their adventures have been documented on a website, in a book called "We Carry Kevan", and even a documentary film.

An injured turtle got a new lease of life with the help of a customised lego wheelchair since turtle sized wheelchairs weren't available. The turtle was hit by a car which caused multiple fractures on the shell and made him immobile. The turtle is now on the road to recovery, moving around thanks to his multicolored lego wheelchair!
