Wednesday Season 2 is currently in production, and we've just caught our first glimpse of what's ahead!
On September 19, during the final night of Geeked Week Live, Netflix unveiled a behind-the-scenes teaser for the Addams Family series.
The clip features returning stars Jenna Ortega (Wednesday Addams), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzman (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Victor Dorobantu (Thing), and George Burcea (Lurch), along with executive producer and director Tim Burton.
Catherine Zeta-Jones says, &lsquo;This season is going to be bigger and more twisted than you can ever imagine.&rsquo;
As the teaser wraps up, Jenna, in character, adds, &lsquo;If we showed you any more, your eyes would bleed, and I&rsquo;m not that generous.&rsquo;

&lsquo;Wednesday&rsquo;, directed by Tim Burton and created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, follows Wednesday Addams at Nevermore Academy, where she hones her developing psychic abilities. In Season 1, she unraveled a killing spree linked to her parents, Morticia and Gomez (Luis Guzm&aacute;n), who met at the school 15 years prior.
Christina Ricci, who previously portrayed Wednesday in the Addams Family films and starred in Burton&rsquo;s Sleepy Hollow (1999), appeared in Season 1 as Marilyn Thornhill.
Burton recently revived his 1988 classic Beetlejuice with a long-awaited sequel featuring Jenna Ortega alongside returning cast members Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O&rsquo;Hara.

Netflix has officially renewed Jenna Ortega starrer &lsquo;Wednesday&rsquo; for a second season. Director Tim Burton announced the news on May 7 via Netflix's social media, mentioning that production has already started.
Burton also posted a photo from the set, showcasing both returning and new cast members.
Jenna will not only reprise her role as the lead but will also serve as a producer for the upcoming season. Additionally, a video featuring the character Thing was shared alongside the announcement.
In the video, Thing carried the script of season 2 and handed it over to Wednesday. The cover of the script read: &lsquo;Wednesday, season 2. Chapter one: Here We Woe Again.&rsquo;
The first episode will be written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, and directed by Tim Horton.

According to reports from Variety and Deadline, Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzm&aacute;n, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo will be reprising their roles for &lsquo;Wednesday&rsquo; season 2. However, three actors from the first season will not be returning: Percy Hynes White, Jamie McShane, and Naomi J Ogawa.

In the upcoming season of &lsquo;Wednesday,&rsquo; the roles of new cast members Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor have not been disclosed yet.
Steve Buscemi is also set to make an appearance on the show. Al Gough and Miles Millar, the series creators and showrunners, expressed their excitement, stating, &lsquo;We are thrilled that the entire Addams family will be enrolling in Nevermore Academy this season along with a dream cast of icons and new faces.&rsquo;

Curtailing the central probe agency&rsquo;s powers to probe cases in the state, the Maharashtra government on Wednesday withdrew the 'general consent' granted to the Central Bureau of Investigation. More than 30 lakh non-gazetted employees will be benefited from the bonus announcement,&nbsp;Union Minister Prakash Javadekar&nbsp;said.&nbsp;The bonus will be given in a single installment, through Direct Benefit Transfer, before Vijayadashami, he added.

The national capital&rsquo;s air quality index (AQI) slipped into a very poor category on Thursday after improving marginally the previous day. Air Quality Index was at 366 in ITO, 309 in RK Puram, 313 in Anand Vihar, and 339 in Wazirpur, all four in 'very poor' category on Thursday morning. An AQI between 301 and 400 is considered to be very poor. On Wednesday, the national capital&rsquo;s AQI was 276 that signified a poor category. For October, the Begumpet met office observatory in Hyderabad recorded the highest ever rainfall of 192.1 mm on Wednesday.

Under the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate limits, five people went missing after they were washed away in high flow of water, police said, adding, a search was on.
In Banjara Hills a 49-year-old man, running a naturopathy clinic, was electrocuted when he was trying to remove water from the cellar of his inundated apartment.
TV channels showed visuals of a man being washed away and residents climbing the terrace of their houses seeking help.
He was later rescued by police and locals.
The State government declared a holiday for all government offices and private institutions on Wednesday and Thursday, even as people were advised to stay indoors unless it was an emergency.
K T Rama Rao, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, held an emergency meeting with senior officials and reviewed the rescue and relief operations in the city.
He said several trees and electricity poles were uprooted due to the deluge and directed the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) to coordinate with Municipal Administration and Police Departments to ensure that power is restored at the earliest.
