Actor Anupam Kher shared a glimpse of the celebration on Instagram. He was accompanied by filmmakers R Balki, Aanand L Rai, and Luv Ranjan, among others.

Actor Anupam Kher's latest release 'Uunchai', co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani, had a grand opening at the box office. The actor recently attended the ongoing 53rd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa and celebrated his successful year. Besides 'Uunchai', Anupam Kher's 'The Kashmir Files' also did wonders at the ticket booth.
The actor shared a glimpse of the celebration on Instagram. He post a series of photos and videos and wrote, 'Director&rsquo;s Cut: Thank you #MahaveerJain ji for making an actor&rsquo;s dream come true by bringing some of the finest directors of our country together to felicitate my success in the year 2022 and the success of #SoorajBarjatya&rsquo;s #Uunchai. Actor Neena Gupta, who is having a great year with back-to-back releases &lsquo;Goodbye&rsquo; and &lsquo;Uunchai&rsquo;, opened up about her personal life and raising daughter Masaba as a single parent in an interview with Humans of Bombay.
Neena Gupta has said that she doesn&rsquo;t believe in any other love other than the love she has felt for her daughter, fashion designer Masaba Gupta. Masaba is Neena and former West Indies cricketer Viv Richards&rsquo; daughter. The &lsquo;GoodBye&rsquo; actor is now married to chartered accountant Vivek Mehra.
Neena was asked about how love was different for her at 49 than in earlier phases of her life. She said &lsquo;I don't think there is anything called love between a man and a woman. It starts with lust and then If you get along, you become affectionate to each other and then, it becomes a habit. The only love that I have felt is for Masaba. I don't know other people might have felt, but mujhe nahi love samajh mein aata (I don't understand that love).&rsquo;
&lsquo;Ye sab wo lust hota hai shuru me, uske baad (there is lust in the beginning, but after that) it can take any direction, you marry or you go to somebody else. It's only with a child that love I feel that I can do anything for her. For my husband I will do, I do a lot, but I will not do anything for him like I will do for Masaba,&rsquo; she added.
The actor also recalled the time she learned about her pregnancy, and called Vivian to inform him about it. The cricketer, who was married to someone else at the time, encouraged her to go ahead with the pregnancy. She mentioned that her family didn&rsquo;t support her initially, but eventually her father became one of her biggest supporters.
Recalling the conversation she had with Vivian, Neena said, &lsquo;I was not very giddy with joy. I was happy because I loved him. I called him and asked him that if you don&rsquo;t want this child then I won&rsquo;t have it. He said, &lsquo;No no I would love for you to have this child&rsquo;. Everyone told me, &lsquo;No, no, no how can you do it alone?&rsquo; because he was already married and I couldn&rsquo;t marry him and go to Antigua to live there. But what happens is jawani mein you are blind. (You are blind in your youth) When you are in love, you don&rsquo;t listen to anybody. No children will listen to their parents and I was the same.&rsquo;
She further stated that she told Masaba everything frankly about who her father was and why she didn&rsquo;t have a conventional upbringing. &lsquo;We (Vivian and Neena) were in touch sometimes, sometimes not. But I told her (Masaba) everything frankly. It&rsquo;s important to tell the child the truth otherwise he or she will find it from somewhere else. So, it&rsquo;s better to tell her and let her adapt,&rsquo; Neena said.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film collected around ₹ 1.81 cr in India on the first day of its release. He took to Twitter and wrote 'Limited screens [483]&hellip;Limited shows [2 to 4 shows per day at prime properties]&hellip;Yet, #Uunchai finds its share of audience&hellip; Decent Day 1&hellip; Fares much, much better than most mid-range films with higher screen count + shows&hellip; Fri ₹ 1.81 cr.'
The film is receiving positive word-of-mouth. This will help the film in its weekend collections and gain momentum. The film is expected to attract more footfall over the weekend. The film has been helmed by Sooraj Barjatya, who has donned the director&rsquo;s hat after seven years. His last directorial venture was Salman Khan&rsquo;s 'Prem Ratan Dhan Aayo' which was released in 2015. This is the first collaboration between Amitabh Bachchan and Sooraj Barjatya.

In a video posted by Rajshri Productions on Youtube, the cast is seen talking about their film, and in a segment, Anupam recalls how he had to convince Boman for the film. The latter was reportedly going through a tough time because of which he was not sure about taking the project. &nbsp;
Anupam said, &lsquo;I called him and asked, &lsquo;Tum pagal ho kya, tum iss picture mein kyu nahi kaam karna chahte (Are you mad? Why don&rsquo;t you want to work on this project)? It is one of the finest films I have worked on.&rsquo;
Renowned filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, who directed and produced the film, said that this is not his style of filmmaking and when he took the project people were so caught up in the trials and tribulations of Covid-19 pandemic. The filmmaker went on to share that &lsquo;Uunchai&rsquo; was not his film but a writer gave it to him in 2016. He also said that he bought the rights of the movie and decided on taking it to ignite hope in the people. He said he wanted to challenge himself with this project. &nbsp;

The media stationed outside the venue asked Sooraj if he has any thoughts of making Salman&rsquo;s iconic Prem series of characters in his next film. He responded that &lsquo;Prem will return.&rsquo; He further added that the title is registered for the same.

The film cast and their family members, like Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and several Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan and Kangana Ranaut, attended the event.
A video that caught everyone's attention was that of Jaya Bachchan seemingly ignoring Kangana. It appears that the 'Queen' actor greeted Jaya on the red carpet as she came closer to her while greeting someone else, but Jaya didn't respond and went on to pose for the cameras with Anupam Kher.

The trailer of &lsquo;Uunchai&rsquo;, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta and Parineeti Chopra, has finally been unveiled. The Sooraj Barjatya directorial is new kind of family entertainer. This time he&rsquo;s making veteran actors climb Mt Everest, the tallest mountain in the world, and Parineeti, who plays a mountaineering trainer, will be leading this team.
The trailer opens with a bunch of four friends discussing the idea of climbing Mt Everest. However, before they can finalise the plan, one of them dies of old age. The remaining three friends fulfil Danny&rsquo;s wish by immersing his ashes at Mt Everest.

This survival thriller, directed by Mathukutty Xavier and produced by Boney Kapoor, stars Janhvi Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa. It is remake of 2019 Malayalam film &lsquo;Helen&rsquo;.
It narrates a story of a woman stuck in a freezer, racing against time to stay alive.
