The house of the man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl in Ujjain will reportedly be demolished on Wednesday by the civic authority.

The house of the man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain will reportedly be demolished on October 4.
According to NDTV, the Ujjain Municipal Corporation said that the accused Bharat Soni's family has been living in a house built illegally on government land for years.
Municipal Commissioner Roshan Singh said since the land belongs to the government, no notice is required to be served before its demolition.
The accused, an autorickshaw driver is currently in jail awaiting trial.
A video of the incident showed the victim roaming the streets seeking help but was shooed away by locals.
The father of the accused has said that his son should be hanged.
&ldquo;It is a shameful act. Neither have I gone to the hospital to meet him, no will I go to the police station or courts. My son has committed a crime, therefore he should be hanged,&rdquo; the accused Bharat Soni's father told reporters.

Day after Madhya Pradesh Police arrested the main accused in a horrific Ujjain rape case, a senior police officer told NDTV that locals who didn't help the pleading girl, who went door-to-door seeking help may face charges.
The locals who shooed her away and failed to report or register the crime may face action under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, the outlet reported.&nbsp;
One such person has been identified who didn't inform the police on purpose, Additional Superintendent of Police in Ujjain, Jayant Singh Rathore told NDTV, adding that the Police will scan CCTV and more people will be identified.&nbsp;

The father of the man who has been arrested for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl in Ujjain has said that his son should be hanged.
Calling the incident a shameful act, he said that he had not gone to the hospital to meet his son and would not go to the police station or courts.
&ldquo;It is a shameful act. Neither have I gone to the hospital to meet him, no will I go to the police station or courts. My son has committed a crime, therefore he should be hanged,&rdquo; the accused Bharat Soni's father told reporters here.
Soni, who is an autorickshaw driver, was injured after he tried to flee when police took him to the crime spot for investigation.
He was arrested three days after the victim was found walking on the city streets in an injured condition and the locals denied her help.

The driver, who was detained for interrogation, tried to escape from Police custody following which the police arrested him.
The accused, identified as Bharat Soni, was picked up after blood stains were found in his vehicle. Some others were also detained for interrogation.&nbsp;
