According to her almost all keratin chemical brands use an ingredient named formaldehyde which could lead to nausea, dizziness, eye irritation, sore throat, cough, wheezing, chest pains, and other health issues. While keratin makes our hair smooth and silky, it also leads to breakage, thinning and damage to hair. Hence, she recommends other treatments which give keratin-like results. &nbsp;
