CBI has closed its preliminary inquiry against former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad in a 2018 bribery case after the agency found no concrete evidence.
The preliminary inquiry by CBI has been closed now.
It was alleged that Lalu Prasad&rsquo;s son Tejashwi and daughters Chanda and Ragini had bought a company AB Exports for Rs 4 lakh in 2011. AB Exports, an alleged shell company had bought a property in New Friends Colony in 2007 for Rs 5 crore.
However, after the company was bought in 2011 by Lalu&rsquo;s kin for Rs 4 lakh, properties worth crores came to them.

The political heat is rising in Bihar as leaders hit the campaign trail ahead of the assembly elections. Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav at a rally in Bihar's Nawada district again reiterated his promise of providing 10 lakh jobs as CM.
