While on one hand, actress Taapsee Pannu is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film ‘Shabaash Mithu’, on the other hand, she is now all set to produce a film that will star Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the heroine, as per a report in Pinkvilla. 
When asked about the film, Taapsee Pannu said she was working on a film with Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the leading lady. The film’s leading man and the title have not been revealed so far. When asked about if she would be acting in the film, Taapsee said that, if at all there was a part for her to do in the film, she will act in it. She revealed that the announcement about the film would be made soon. 
Besides this film, Taapsee Pannu is also producing ‘Dhak Dhak’, directed by Tarun Dudeja (who has also co-written the film). The film stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Dia Mirza and Sanjana Sanghi. 
On the acting front, Taapsee Pannu is all geared up for her upcoming film ‘Shabaash Mithu’, whose trailer has received an encouraging response from everyone. Besides Taapsee Pannu, the film stars Mumtaz Sorcar, Vijay Raaz, Brijendra Kala and others. The film is scheduled to be released on 15 July 2022.

In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, the actor talked about her stint as a producer with 'Dhak Dhak,' and announced that she would be backing a film that will star Samantha.&nbsp;
'There is something that we are working together on. We will announce what it is very soon. But yes, we are working on something together. I will be producing it,' Taapsee informed the publication.
The actor was questioned if she will also be acting in the film, to which she responded that she would if there is a part for her to do. She further added that there is a 'different kind of excitement in producing the project.&nbsp;
Besides promoting 'Shabaash Mithu,' which releases in theatres on July 15, Taapsee is also producing &lsquo;Dhak Dhak,' starring Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Dia Mirza, and Sanjana Sanghi.&nbsp;
She also has 'Blurr' and 'Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan' lined up.&nbsp;

After filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, Bollywood&nbsp;actor&nbsp;Taapsee Pannu and Lakshmi Manchu have slammed the media trial of Rhea Chakraborty, who has been accused of abetting&nbsp;the&nbsp;suicide&nbsp;of actor&nbsp;Sushant&nbsp;Singh Rajput.
Actor&nbsp;Lakshmi Manchu&nbsp;posted a long note demanding justice not just for Sushant but for Rhea as well.
Calling the media trial unfair, Taapsee&nbsp;tweeted that people must trust the&nbsp;law of the land and its wrong to&nbsp;overtake the judiciary to convict someone who isn&rsquo;t proven guilty.&nbsp;
