<p>Maddock Films dropped the trailer of &lsquo;Stree 2&rsquo; ahead of its Independence Day Release. Sharing the trailer on her Instagram account, Shraddha wrote, &ldquo;India&rsquo;s most awaited gang is back to fight Chanderi ka naya aatank! Get ready for the biggest horror-comedy film of the year. Stree 2 Trailer Out Now. The legend returns this Independence Day, 15th August, 2024.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p>
<h2>About the trailer</h2>
<p>Set up in the town of Chanderi, which was earlier haunted by &lsquo;Stree&rsquo;, the story picks up from where it ended in the first part. The town now faces another threat: Sarkata and Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana struggle to find a solution. The troubled villagers are forced to seek the help of Stree and Shraddha Kapoor joins them in the scary ride. The villagers who wrote &lsquo;O Stree Kal Aana&rsquo; are seen changing the phrase to &lsquo;O stree raksha karna&rsquo;. &nbsp;</p>
<p>The film is a rollercoaster of laughter and chills. 'Sarkata&rsquo; monster adds to the spooky element while Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi steal the show with their perfect dialogue delivery. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are teaming up once again for the sequel of horror comedy &lsquo;Stree&rsquo;. Days after the online leak, makers have dropped the teaser of &lsquo;Stree 2&rsquo;, raising the anticipation as well as reconfirming the release date. &nbsp;</p>

<h2>About the &lsquo;Stree 2&rsquo; teaser&nbsp;</h2>
<p>The teaser begins with a statue of &lsquo;Stree&rsquo; and some people pouring milk over it. Horror begins for the residence of Chanderi as Rajkumar Rao&rsquo;s character is heard saying, &lsquo;ye to sach mein aa gaye&rsquo;. Shraddha Kapoor gives spooky vibes. We also get glimpses of Pankaj Tripathi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee. Towards the end, Rao&rsquo;s character apologises to &lsquo;Stree&rsquo; for chopping off her braid in the last time. &nbsp;</p>
<h2>&lsquo;Stree 2&rsquo; release date &nbsp;</h2>
<p>Besides dropping the teaser, makes also re-confirmed the release date of film. &lsquo;Stree 2&rsquo; will hit the theatres on Independence Day. &nbsp;The film was initially scheduled to be released on August 30 2024, however, the makers have preponed it to Independence Day. &nbsp;</p>
<p>With this, &lsquo;Stree 2&rsquo; has become third film to recently confirm the Independence Day release date. Recently, Akshay Kumar&rsquo;s &lsquo;Khel Khel Mein&rsquo; and John Abraham&rsquo;s &lsquo;Vedaa&rsquo; also announced August 15 as their release date. Allu Arjun starrer &lsquo;Pushpa 2&rsquo; was also scheduled to be released on Independence Day; however, reports suggest that there might be a delay in the release.</p>
